Blues Belfast & Vintage Dance NI presents a chilled out get together for all you Film Noir enthusiasts. Perfectly timed to saunter by after work for pizza, pint & a movie. Sure what else would you be doing on a dreary Wednesday? Come alone or bring a mate, either way there’ll be a welcoming bunch ready to hang out.

This month we will be showing ‘Swing Time'(1936): Dexterous and risk-taking Lucky Garnett (Fred Astaire) pursues dancing and gambling with equal verve. Engaged to the pretty Margaret Watson (Betty Furness), Lucky gets pre-wedding nerves, which leads to the ceremony being called off. Margaret’s father decides that Lucky can have a second chance at marrying her if he can make $25,000, so he heads to New York City to seek his fortune. When Lucky meets the beautiful dance teacher Penny Carroll (Ginger Rogers), however, his priorities soon change.

Doors open 6.30pm, movie starts at 7pm sharp. Limited seats available, online tickets sold accordingly.

Vintage Blues & Jazz DJs will follow & the floor will be ready for some hoppin’ moves. If dancing’s not your thing, no problem; grab another pint at the bar, sit back & enjoy the music!
